Les Canadiennes are headed back to the Clarkson Cup final. Les Canadiennes will face the Calgary Inferno in the CWHL final on Sunday, March 24, at the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto. Markham, which upset Montreal in the playoffs here last year, forced a deciding game when they beat Les Canadiennes 4-3 on Saturday. Les Canadiennes were playing without league scoring champion Marie-Philip Poulin, who was injured in the final game of the regular season. The final will be special for Saulnier and Maschmeyer because they were playing for the Inferno two years ago when Calgary lost to Les Canadiennes 3-1 in the Clarkson Cup final.
