Prospero de Vera 3rd, the chairman of the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd), does not seem to be very consistent these days. This was our first year with online learning. and that rant was by a student who claims to have learned nothing through distance learning. Higher education is teacher-dependent, not teacher-led, and that is pathetic in this day and age. If we have learned these lessons, Covid may still have occasioned the salutary acquisition of a fresh perspective to higher education.
