Shortly after the wake of the June 29 assassination of popular Oromo artist Haacaaluu Hundessaa, extreme youth groups launched an attacks against Orthodox Christians and other minorities in Oromia regional state. We believe Germany must end its silence about the ongoing genocide against Orthodox Christians and other minority groups in Oromia regional state in Ethiopia. We implore you to speak up on behalf of these Orthodox Christians and brutalized minority populations. We therefore urge you to declare that Orthodox Christians, along with and other minorities, are targets of ongoing genocide.
