MONROVIA – The Girls for Change Organization (GFC) Liberia in collaboration with the Foundation for Community Initiative (FCI) has launched the “Community Engagement in Sexual and Gender Based Violence Response Project”. The “SAV APP” aim to swiftly report, respond, and fast track cases of 3 types of violence (including Rape) that have been perpetrated against Women and Girls in Liberia. Both Girls for Change and Foundation for Community Initiative are leading institutions working on Gender Equality, Women’s Rights and fighting against Sexual Gender Based Violence in Liberia. The launch of the project was graced by national stakeholders including the Chief Launcher Madame Cecelia Brownell, who think “the issue of Sexual Gender Based Violence is everyone’s business. Margaret Nigba, Director of Her Voice Liberia, Madam Crayton, County Representative of the OSIWA in Liberia, among others.
