SUAKOKO – The Bishops of the Lutheran Church in Liberia, Rt. Dr. G. Victor Padmore; the Episcopal Church of Liberia, Bishop James B. Sellee; and the United Methodist Church Liberia Annual Conference, Bishop Samuel J. Quire, have reaffirmed their support for the Board of Phebe Hospital and School of Nursing, calling for calm and respect for due process amid the ongoing crisis at the referral hospital. The Bishops said they convened on February 25 in the office of Rt. They reaffirmed “unwavering confidence” in the Board’s decision to establish an independent committee to investigate complaints raised by aggrieved employees. The Bishops expressed hope that continued collaboration among stakeholders would lead to a speedy resolution.
