On Friday, March 6, 2020, social media lit up about a man identified as Amara Enson Joe, the Comptroller of CARI, who reportedly withdrew the money from the institution’s account. Bong’s police chief, Frederick Nappy explained that the police had received the complaint from CARI and will launch a man-hunt for Amara. “We have received a report from the administration of CARI and we will launch an investigation into the matter,” he said.
