The political leader of the opposition Alternative National Congress (ANC), Mr. Alexander Cummings was recently received a rousing welcome by citizens of Mboo Statutory District, Unification Town, Lower Margibi County. Converging under the banner, of “The United Women for Progress” on August 24, 2016, the Lower Margibians praised the ANC political leader for being there for them when their homes were overtaken by flood. Responding, the political leader of the ANC praised the people of Lower Margibi for the honor. “You deserve better living condition, just as the people of Liberia deserve better,” he said. Under an ANC government, Cummings vowed to provide better health care, education, and better roads for Lower Margibi, describing the area as a gateway to Liberia.
