Paynesville – The Government of Liberia, with support from the European Union and the Swedish Embassy has presented laptops and other digital learning equipment to 78 TVET instructors at public vocational institutions across Liberia. The support is geared at strengthening teachers’ capacities from a manual system of preparing for classroom activities to a modern system. Sheriff told FrontPageAfrica Wednesday that the training is a five-year project targeting TVET teachers in some counties across Liberia. “I am gratified to TVET teachers who made it through the vetting process and will have the opportunity to travel to Kenya or Zambia for studies,” Kaspers averred. “We hope that you can serve upon return as instructors in TVET schools and as master trainers for vocational instructor training that will be established with support from programmed at BWI and other campuses,” Kaspers said.
