The County Education Officer of the Montserrado County School System made the remark over the weekend when she served as guest speaker for the 49th graduation ceremony of the Maryann Cheeseman School of Home Economics and Cosmetology. To all those who contributed to the success of these graduates, I say thank you; keep on the good work to help transform the minds of our people.”The Maryann Cheeseman School of Home Economics and Cosmetology were established and are managed by the Liberian government. The County Education Officer of the Montserrado County School system says vocational and technical education is the solution to Liberia’s illiteracy problem. Sellee added: “Maryann Cheeseman is challenging you the beneficiaries to take seriously this training by practicing what you have learned if you failed society will be the judge – that you refused to utilize the skills achieved to change the community and country you reside.”
