Alex Tyler’s Liberia People Democratic Party (LPDP) is also a member of the Coalition. Bong County is the stronghold of NPP and they believe that the Coalition must respect that fact that the County is their base, therefore, there should no contestant from a member of the Coalition against the NPP in the County. During the endorsement of Sen. Yallah, Jorquelleh District 3 Representative J. Marvin Cole, stressed the need for Senator Yallah to contest on the ticket of the ruling party in the ensuing senatorial election in Bong County.
