COPPWIL is a conglomeration of women from the 28 political parties in Liberia. Madam Scott said while the country is faced with numerous challenges, any action of this kind has the tendency to track the country back to its ugly past. While a large segment of the public including opposition political parties and some independent media outlets have condemned the move, others are in support of the planned protest. But Madam Scott said despite these many challenges, dialogue is the best option. Let’s dialogue these issues and not use violence, because violence has never given us the result that we wanted,” she noted.
