Mr. Morlu said the ruling party is determined to be a dominant force in the Midterm 2020 elections scheduled for December 8, 2020. “We believe in our delegates and trust their judgment in making the right decision by putting up the best candidates across the country that will defeat anyone that would stand against the CDC. We will put out the best of the best and we will defeat our opponents.”Mr. Morlu added that the announcement of the primary is a result of consultation with the National Executive Committee. “Consistently, a ‘Primaries Organizing Committee’ has been formed and constituted, naming partisan Jefferson T. Koijee as Chairman, Partisan Alexander Saydee, Co-Chairman, Partisan Eric Kpayea, and Secretary amongst others. As the party enters a crucial and important phase, Mr. Morlu encouraged all partisans to continue to remain peaceful, law-abiding and tolerant at all levels, ensuring that the collective interests of our people—the interest of the Party—Remains Supreme.”
