MONROVIA – On Friday, May 12, 2023, Liberia will join the world in celebrating Kids’ Athletics Day. The Liberia Athletics Federation (LAF) kicked off celebrations ahead of Liberia’s official celebrations by mobilizing children in schools and communities between the ages of 4 to 15 about Kids’ Athletics Day. Additionally, a one-day Kids’ Athletics workshop for over 15 Kids’ Athletics coaches will be held on Thursday. The LAF National Athletics Championship aims to spot hidden talents amongst clubs to form part of the LAF local national teams to compete in international championships. Meanwhile, Liberty is the reigning LAF Athletics Club Champion.
