Monrovia – A leading charity institution, Shamel’s Place Inc.-based in both the United states and Liberia, has ended its distribution of assorted food items including rice, oil and cooking cubes to several orphanages across Monrovia and its environs. Mr. Keita said the gesture was part of the continued support Shamel’s Place has been rendering to the underprivileged children since its formation in 2019. Meanwhile, the heads of the orphanages, at their respective institutions, thanked Shamel’s Place for the continued support, and for always remembering their children. We just want to say thank you for Shamel’s Place for all it continue to do for our children. During the height of COVID-19 in April 2020, Shamel’s Place supplied assorted food items including rice, oil and cooking cube to several orphanages in Margibi and Montserrado Counties as these institutions observed Government’s lockdown order.
