Monrovia – As part of efforts to get teenagers acquainted with saving and other banking activities, the United Bank for Africa (UBA) Liberia Limited has introduced “UBA Teens” – a savings account tailored for teenagers in the country. UBA Teens was launched Friday, January 24, at the B.W. Harris High School on Broad Street, couple of blocks away from the bank’s head office. Speaking to journalists at the launch, UBA Liberia Marketing and Corporate Communications Manager Melody Mezay-Ketter said Teens Account holder stands to benefit an array of bonuses like 13-month cash reward, 50 percent discount on debit cards, complimentary invite to UBA Teens event and access to all digital banking products offered by UBA. Harris Episcopal High School, at the event, were excited about the possibility of owning an account and said it will enlighten their minds about the banking sector.
