WASHINGTON D.C. – Increased and sustained developmental partnership with the United States of America would be anchored on Liberia’s improvement in governance and other reforms aimed at improving democracy in the country. This was disclosed during meetings held by the Liberian high-delegation in the United States with officials of the U.S. government. The delegation also met with Congressional leaders, business and influential leaders on a wide range of issues. The group was supported by Liberia’s Ambassador accredited to the United States, George S. W. Patten.
