Monrovia – Liberia’s international midfielder David Tweh has comfortably won the ‘Midfielder of the Year’ for top Belarusian club, FC Energetik-BGU Minsk, after inspiring them to escape relegation. In his post on social media, David Tweh thanked his teammates for the support given him and promised to do more next season. “I am grateful for this international award and hope to do more because the best is yet to come,” said Tweh. Club officials agree by voting the Liberian wonderkid as the ‘Midfielder of the Season’ by a landslide. Energetik announced that the 20-year-old Liberian midfielder finished an incredible points ahead of his challengers.
