The launch of the joint program coincided with the official dedication of a pump constructed by the Watkins Initiative For Nations which is intended to benefit the over 5,000 residents of Tarr Town Community, located on the Old Road. WIN believes that though access to water sources in Montserrado has improved, there is still serious challenge for Liberians at community levels to benefit from piped water. Officially launching the joint project, Journalist Y. Solomon W. Watkins said expanding safe piped water especially in Montserrado is thus a critical priority for him and his team. Elder Koon called on Liberians to follow the good example of Journalist Watkins to ensure communities in Liberia lack no development most importantly for access to piped water.
