President George Manneh Weah has re-echoed his commitment to fight against abuse, discrimination and exploitation of women and girls in Liberia. The Liberian leader in his third annual message delivered in the Joint Chamber of the National Legislature on Monday indicated that justice against sexual predators will not be compromised. President Weah said he remains committed to upholding the dignity of human rights, and to the protection of the vulnerable population, including women, girls, and children, the elderly, young people and people living with disabilities in the society. “To that end, we intend to establish Gender and Social Inclusion Units in all government ministries, agencies and commissions. We are grateful to have received initial funding for this initiative from the Millennium Challenge Account – Liberia,” President Weah said.
