The general overseer of the Transcea Bible Church of Liberia has underscored the need for Liberians to ‘strive for excellence in life’s calling’ as the country is expected to go through a successful transition. The theme of the retreat, ‘Pursuing Excellence in Life’s Calling’ was drawn from the book of Philippians Chapter 3:13-14. Pastor Boyd told the congregation that Liberians need to keep focused and listen to God’s direction and continue to strive for excellence in life’s calling which is the recipe for building a vibrant society peacefully. He said Liberians over the years were not able to strive for excellence in the things of God, which according to him, made people to be dissatisfied. ‘‘This retreat is going to bring about a total transformation to Liberians and the society at large, said Pastor Boyd.
