In its bid to capture the presidency, the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) of George Weah, the party is holistically winning huge support from other opposition political parties with the latest coming from the opposition Liberty Party (LP) as its Vice Presidential Candidate, Harrison Karnwea expressing his unflinching support to the presidential bid of George Weah in the December 26 runoff election. The grounds of the CDC headquarters in Congo Town was today overwhelmed as dozens of Liberty Party partisans and executive trooped towards the podium where the ceremony took place with the LP vice standard bearer expressively poured his overwhelming support to the CDC. Yesterday, four stalwarts of the Party including its National Chairman and National Campaign Manager, Benjamin Sanvee and Musa Bility, also Israel Akinsanya, Maxwell Grigsby and J. Fonati Koffa pledged their support to the CDC, promising to campaign hard to ensure Weah’s victory. Koffa, now representative-elect of District 1, Grand Kru County, told Voice of Grand Kru that he believes Weah’s agenda is in the best interest of his district and offers the best hope for the people in the South-eastern Liberia, which is one of the most impoverished parts of the country.
