The House of Representatives holds a hearing on Monday for candidates who were nominated to replace Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh. Former interior minister Fathi Bashagha and former deputy prime minister Ahmed Maiteeq are among the candidates for the premiership. After the hearing, the House will vote on Tuesday so selected the next premier.
