A Libyan delegation from the General Authority for Communications and Informatics has held talks with Serbia’s Assistant Minister for Information, Telecommunications and European Integration, Filip Pavlović, on strengthening cooperation in the communications and technology sectors. According to Libyan officials, the meeting also explored ways to expand cooperation in telecommunications, information technology and postal services. Both sides stressed the importance of strengthening institutional cooperation and said the two countries have significant potential to develop partnerships through the exchange of expertise, knowledge and best practices. The Libyan delegation included Amjad Al-Karzab, director of the Projects Office at the General Authority for Communications and Informatics, and Fatima Al-Mamlouk, head of the Serbia Cooperation Section at the Foreign Ministry’s International Cooperation Department. Serbia was also represented at the meeting by Assistant Minister for Electronic Communications and Postal Services Katarina Tomašević.
