Today, Libyans were supposed to be heading to the polls to decide their future through elections. The Libyan authorities have now officially confirmed this moment has been postponed. Libya and its people deserve stability and peace after a decade of conflict. Only elections will give a clear opportunity to build a stable and prosperous future and allow to transfer power to democratically elected institutions, peacefully end the current transition and advance towards sustainable security and political stability.
