A safari ranger has filmed captivating footage of lion cubs practising their hunting as they try to catch geese at a watering hole in South Africa. Safari ranger Jem Harris filmed one cub pawing the muddy water as if playing the children's game Whack-A-Mole before it snatched up one of the birds in its jaws. Footage filmed at the Dulini Private Game Reserve in Sabi Sands, Greater Kruger, shows the cubs watching the geese's every move. The cub walks around the side of the watering hole eagerly watching the slight ripples in the water made by the geese underneath.
