Lionel Richie had Mariah Carey opening for him at the arena in his last trip to Toronto, and the Star’s reviewer suggested it went rather better for him than for her. Now he’s back as headliner, sans Carey, at the Budweiser Stage on June 27. Tickets running from $50 to $200 go on sale April 5 from livenation.com and ticketmaster.ca for the ’80s hitmaker who’ll turn 70 years old a week before the Toronto date. He’ll be touting a new album, Live from Las Vegas.
