According to the District Governor, Ayodele Samuel, “We have three events rolled into one. So, all we needed to do was bring a few others to join them.”While stating the challenges confronting the organisation, he urged Nigerians to see charity as a way of life. “The organisation is faced with the issue of finance, probably because of the prevailing economic challenges. “I encourage kindhearted Nigerians to join us to expand our area of coverage and expand our service or even, on their own, give helping hand to the less-privileged. It is a call to service to all Nigerians, regardless of whether they are Lions or not,” he added.Lion Caroline Adediran, the guest speaker, also called on Nigerians to render service to humanity.
