BENTONG: The country’s transformation plan is starting to bear fruit and the people can expect a better year in 2017, says MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai. “Crude oil and palm oil prices have increased by 20% while rubber price has also gone up more than RM4 from the previous RM2. Liow said the development projects to propel Malaysia to become a high-income nation were progressing as scheduled. “No town or village, including Bentong, shall be left out in the country’s development plans,” he told the people here at Bentong MCA division’s Chinese New Year open house yesterday. Liow also said that the national-level Chinese New Year open house would be held in the town on Feb 12.
