Aston Villa head to Anfield in hope of extending their unbeaten run in all competitions to five games after Unai Emery's side have given the perfect response to losing on the opening weekend of the campaign to Newcastle United. Villa have scored seven goals in their last two Premier League games, in wins over Everton and Burnley, while Hibernian were thrashed 8-0 on aggregate either side of those victories. They face a Liverpool side this afternoon (14:00pm kick-off) who are also in good form, and are unbeaten so far this season. Virgil van Dijk will miss this afternoon's clash after he saw red in the win over Newcastle.
