Liverpool have been linked with a move for Bayern Munich forward Kingsley Coman, who is said to be unhappy with his situation at the Allianz Arena. Bayern are keen to tie Coman down to a new long-term contract, with his current deal running until 2023. There have been reports that Liverpool have attempted to capitalise on the situation by making a move for Coman. However, according to Sky in Germany, Bayern have set Coman's asking price at €100m (£86m). But it is not only the potential fee that should be putting Liverpool off the deal, given what happened the last time they signed a player from Bayern.
