The Brazilian suffered a nasty eye injury against Tottenham after clashing with defender Jan Vertonghen in the closing stages. Firmino was benched against PSG after training with a protective eye mask throughout the week. But the Liverpool striker did come on in the second half to score a late winner against the French side at Anfield. And Klopp says Firmino is now ready to start on the weekend and could still yet be partnered by Champions League replacement Sturridge, who also scored against PSG.
