Liverpool have rekindled their interest in the 22-year-old ahead of the January window as a result of his strong midfield performances, according to Rudy Galetti. The Reds failed to sign a quality defensive midfielder in the summer despite bringing the likes of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominic Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch to Anfield. Liverpool will not be the only club in the race to land Kone next month, though, with PSG also said to be keeping a close eye on his development. It will be interesting to see if Liverpool or any other club will be able to tempt Monchengladbach into selling Kone when the bidding opens next month.
