Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame executive director Sheila Kelly is to receive the W.R. (Bill) Schroeder Distinguished Service Award from the International Sports Heritage Association. The award is the highest honour presented by the ISHA. “Sheila has distinguished herself as an outstanding museum leader and strives for excellence in all aspects,” ISHA president Susan Wasser said in a media release. “Her engaging leadership skills, passion, dedication and ingenuity have transformed sports heritage within Saskatchewan. We are thrilled to be able to honour Sheila with this award and provide her this well-deserved recognition.”Hall of Fame president Rankin Jaworski applauded the ISHA for honouring Kelly.
