The bomb, which allegedly caused the crash of Russian plane Metrojet A321 in Sinai, was placed in the back of the plane by “terrorists”, according to Russian newspaper Kommersant, citing international experts. The Russian government had confirmed that the crash was due to a terrorist attack. Kommersant said that the bomb was put in the back of the plane, where children carts are kept. The newspaper added, citing the same group of international experts, that most probably an employee from the Egyptian airport participated in the act. Last February, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi told the public for the first time that the “Russian plane was downed.”
