Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Friday said that central and state governments cannot continue without providing support to the people who are suffering because of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19)-necessitated lockdown in India. Rahul Gandhi insisted that the virus-necessitated lockdown is a time of unprecedented crisis where we need not just a strong Prime Minister, but also strong Chief Ministers and strong District Magistrates. As an example, Rahul Gandhi said that red, orange, and green zones have been demarcated at the national-level but these zones should also be decided at state-levels involving District Magistrates. "Our Chief Ministers are saying that the areas which are red zones at the national-level are actually green zones and vice-versa," the veteran leader said. We need to understand when they open the Coronavirus Lockdown what will be the criteria for its opening.
