On Monday a raft of lockdown restrictions were lifted in England as part of the roadmap out of lockdown. It comes after plans for a new Covid ‘tier’ system have reportedly been drawn up with ministers looking at local lockdowns in Covid hotspots. Either it will go ahead as planned, or there will be local restrictions in some areas, or some June 21 easings will be delayed for the whole country.
