Former Walmart Inc. supply-chain executive Tracy Rosser is moving to the supplier side to join transportation management company Transplace as executive vice president of operations. Mr. Rosser retired from Walmart in February after more than 22 years at the retail behemoth, most recently as senior vice president of transportation and supply chain. Newsletter Sign-upDallas-based Transplace is one of the largest U.S. providers of third-party logistics services, with customers including Amazon.com Inc. and Walmart. More than 40% of Transplace customers are or have been Walmart suppliers, the company said. He will be based out of its Lowell, Ark., operations center and report to Transplace Chief Executive Frank McGuigan.
