Disruption at London's Waterloo station has continued into this morning with South Western Railway running shorter trains and warning of delays and cancellations after a track-side fire last night. Trains between London Waterloo and Dorking, Waterloo and Hampton Court, and Waterloo and Chessington South were among those cancelled. South Western Rail issued a statement, saying: 'Due to a lineside fire at London Waterloo some lines are blocked.' Early morning commuters are pictured trudging down the platform in Stanmore, north LondonChildren are pictured walking to school in Stamore, north London. Schools across the capital have also been forced to shut their doors with public transport strained under the pressure from several inches of snow yesterday.
