Lord Foulkes has opened up a new front in his war against the Scottish Government spending taxpayer cash on breaking up the UK. The Labour peer has been leading the campaign from the benches of the House of Lords to rein in SNP spending on reserved matters. But with Mr Case having to take a leave of absence due to illness, Lord Foulkes has turned his attention to Chancellor Jeremy Hunt. Lord Foulkes, who served as a government minister under Tony Blair, has previously hit out at Scottish Government spending on the production of Scexit prospectuses. It is the second time Lord Foulkes has asked the Treasury to intervene.
