A group of Lorde superfans began lining up outside the Dunedin Town Hall at 5.30am this morning. Columba College pupil Beth Moody (16) said waiting for well over 12 hours was worth it for getting a position close to the stage. She expected the concert, which was even more special given Lorde was turning 21 today, would be "emotionally raw". Lorde superfans(from left) Sofia Till, Bella Sefo, Beth Moody and Isaac Rijlaarsdam arrived at the Dunedin town hall as early as 5.30am this morning to secure the best seats for tonight's Lorde concert. She was most looking forward to Lorde playing the emotional ballad Liability.
