IAG has reported a narrowing of first-half losses as travel rules eased in Europe, and said it expected to carry more passengers over the summer. Pre-tax losses at the owner of British Airways came in at €2.3 billion in the six months to the end of June, down from a €4.21 billion loss at the height of the Covid-19 crisis in the same half last year. Revenue fell by 58 per to €2.2 billion.
