A Love You colt from champion racemare One Over Kenny topped yesterday's inaugural trotting section of the national standardbred yearling sales in Christchurch. The yearling offered by Waimate breeders Lex and Heather Williams' One Over Lodge fetched $100,000 more than any other horse offered at yesterday's sale. A Southern-bred yearling led the selling for much of yesterday's selling before One Over Kenny's colt lit up the sales ring. Yesterday's trotting yearlings sold at an average of $26,735.
