Former Kandara MP Alice Wahome has cast her vote even as low voter turnout mars the exercise. Wahome’s seat fell vacant after she was appointed as Water, Sanitation and Irrigation CS by President William Ruto. She voted some minutes past 10am at Muruka Primary School polling centre where she is a registered voter. “I want to appeal to voters in Kandara constituency to come out and vote for their preferred candidates. "But, considering that we need to replace the MP who is now speaking here having left the seat, and returned the seat, I would want a good turnout."
