Lufthansa’s Airbus A380 has appeared in a special blue livery marking the airline’s 100th anniversary, becoming the largest aircraft in its fleet to carry the commemorative design. A Boeing 787-9 and an Airbus A320neo, both based in Frankfurt, are also operating with the centenary livery. In the coming weeks, a Boeing 747-8 and an Airbus A350-1000 are also set to receive the special paint scheme. Lufthansa plans to operate a total of seven aircraft in anniversary colors as part of the centenary celebrations.
