Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has urged residents to invest in dairy farming. “I will also support dairy cooperatives to access milk packaging machines, milk ATMs and homogenisers,” he said. Lusaka spoke in Kimaeti when he launched the Bumula Dairy Farmers Cooperative Society. In March, the county government distributed hundreds of dairy cows to women’s groups. “I’m glad that the progress and the impact of the project is being felt by the people,” Lusaka said.
