KUALA LUMPUR: MCA Youth will be holding a series of dialogue sessions with the Chinese youth soon to get their views on the 2050 National Transformation (TN50) plan. MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the party youth wing’s effort was in line with that of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s vision to form a high-calibre nation within 30 years. “I have instructed MCA Youth to hold dialogue sessions with the Chinese youth to get their views on the nation’s direction in the next 30 years,” he told reporters after opening Selangor MCA Youth’s 47th annual general meeting at the party’s headquarters here today. Liow, who is also Transport Minister, added that the MCA Youth’s dialogue sessions would complement efforts by the Youth and Sports Ministry to gather opinions from young Malaysian on the TN50 plan. It is, therefore, important that TN50 becomes a very important topic for youths for the next two to three years,” he said.
