MIT flyover needs a facelift

Since its inauguration in 2006, the Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) flyover in Chromepet has done much for the region. The service lane on the Western side of the flyover leads to the Government Hospital, Tambaram. “The space beneath the flyover has become an open toilet. To put an end to such things, the State Highways Department should clear the bushes and landscape the area beneath the flyover. They have suggested that the State Highways Department facilitate the creation of a ticketed parking lot in the space under the flyover.
