Paul Warne’s side remain second but are two points above the chasing pack, while Barrow are one point from safety. Aaron Collins was denied by Barrow keeper Wyll Stanway before Angus MacDonald blocked Callum Paterson’s shot on the line and Ben Wiles saw a low strike clip the post. Barrow came close just after half-time when substitute Scott Smith’s strike just went wide. There was a lengthy stoppage as Paterson suffered a facial injury following a collision with Stanway, although the Dons striker was able to carry on after treatment. Stanway kept out Jack Sanders and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing before the Bluebirds keeper made a brilliant save in stoppage time to deny Joe Tomlinson’s header and secure Barrow a point.
