MANILA, Philippines — Traffic in some areas of Metro Manila started to build-up by Friday evening, as authorities expected a “carmageddon” with Christmas rush anticipated to intensify this weekend. Joel Waje, of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Metrobase, told dzMM that traffic flow at certain portions of Edsa has begun to slowdown, as of this posting. The MMDA has expected traffic to further lose pace Friday night.
