(Photo by Saichon Srinuanchan)The Agricultural Land Reform Office (Alro) on Tuesday ordered Palang Pracharath MP Pareena Kraikupt to hand over her 682-rai chicken farm in Ratchaburi’s Chom Bueng district, which is on Sor Por Kor land, on Wednesday. Ms Pareena announced her intention to return the land to avoid legal action last December in the form of a letter to the department. Sor Por Kor land is parcelled out in 50-rai blocks to landless farmers and cannot be sold on. Demolition of the chicken farm is expected to start later this month and take several months.
